Hi, my name is Antonio. I was born and raised Southeast Mo area. I grew up hunting and fishing and that’s mostly all I do right now today. My dad raised me in the outdoors and I love it! I'm a hunter at heart and have lots of love for the sport; I love to raise and handle beagles. Cane Cutter Kennels puts God 1st and everything else follows! We are a small kennel, nothing like a puppy mill. My dogs are my pets, but hunting dogs 1st. I currently will have no more than 3 litter of puppies a year. When I breed it's not for looks, although I have excellent looking dogs. I breed to produce hard hunting dogs, with great noses to track no matter the conditions. Occasionally produce the run to catch the rabbit type dog. The beagle puppies we raise will be trial style and easy to train, as they will derive from champion bloodlines. The pack I run are mostly used for rabbit hunting dogs that could be trialed and place if given the chance. I do trial some, but primarily rabbit hunt during the rabbit season and condition year round; as I like to keep my hounds in shape and tuned up!! My hounds are medium to upper medium speed, not to slow…not too fast. I like the type of hound that will gear down when conditions are tough and gear up when conditions allow. I like good check work and no extra mouth...... I do occasionally have started and finished hounds for sale.
